Hope Housing is a homelessness charity based in Bradford. We believe that no-one should face the horrors of rough sleeping and our goal is to work towards a day when no-one has to sleep rough in Bradford.
Hope Housing provides emergency accommodation at our No Second Night Out centre in Bradford on a nightly basis. We offer a warm and comfortable place to stay, whilst working with individuals to find a sustainable longer-term housing option as quickly as possible and to find creative solutions to complex homeless situations. We are one of the only accommodation providers in the city to offer emergency accommodation regardless of nationality or entitlement to welfare benefits.
Hope Housing also provides supported tenancies to enable homeless people to move into safe and supportive environments. We work in partnership with private landlords, other charities, housing associations and volunteers to manage several properties across Bradford which provide a stepping stone for people who have been homeless to move forward with their lives and work towards managing their own tenancy.
Hope Housing also provides support for people at the point of moving into their own tenancies. Our Pathways service offers assistance with the initial move into settled accommodation. We support people to settle into their new homes and help them to set up utilities, complete paperwork, source furniture and provide ongoing support until longer term support is in place, to ensure a seamless transition from rough sleeping to living independently. The Pathways worker can also provide intervention support in certain circumstances to prevent someone from losing a tenancy and becoming homeless, where possible.
We also chair the Cold Weather Provision in Bradford and are a strategic member of many local groups and networks working in partnership to deliver effective services to homeless people in Bradford.
